What i’m trying to say is, just reading some of the dreams people have had where they have seen and heard things and everytime the emotional impact seems far greater. i.e. people often say “she told me i must do this” or “to sort out this problem” etc… just reading other people’s dream is often quite inspiring and makes me want to take up LDing again and write a dream journal.
Don’t know about anyone else but i’ve been having a lot of strange dreams lately. Maybe they’re trying to tell me something?
… I read somewhere that our “Eureka” moments matches the same brainwave patterns as our dreaming state, so if you can’t see past a problem… sleep on it
I don’t know… in my first lucid dream I was so, so embarrassed about wearing pyjamas in public. And about what people would think if they saw me trespassing on their property! Not to mention all the times I’ve had to hold back from cute guys who were trying to kiss me (that was considerably more difficult, but I just couldn’t let my reputation slide or destroy my conscience!). Definitely my ego at work, there. And in many normal (and lucid) dreams I often find myself ‘holding back’ from things I don’t feel comfortable with.
Rather, I think dreams are so powerful because they put you in new, unexpected situations. They give you new ideas you wouldn’t think of in reality, they inspire, they suggest what you have the potential for. They drag you into places you could never go in real life and force you to open your eyes about certain issues.
