The first time I actually stopped to see the sky was in my LD the other night. It was beautiful… there were colorful light patterns streaking across the sky. I thought they were Christmas lights.

I love looking at the sky in LD’s. I once looked out my window (at night) and i saw the moon glowing orangey red and setting like the sun over the horizon!
Another one was in the day, where i looked up at the sky and saw
strong sun beams passing through clouds of yellow, blue, pink and purple…It was cool.
How can you ever be frustrated with what your subconcious produces? So what if its a grey sky, think about the meaning behind it, change it with your mind…

My skies are usually normal until I go lucid. When I go lucid, the sky gets crimson with orange stripes… Can’t describe it, guess you have to be there. It’s amazing.
Once my sky was a perfect reflection of the ground except everything had a green tinge. Like an enormous mirror thousands of feet above the ground. Another time it was a night sky full of moons (like 10) and the northern lights (aurora borealis) were streaming across the sky!
Back to the original topic… big grey cloudy skies are beautiful in their own way. Maybe that’s just me, though. Don’t get frustrated over it, though. Just expect the sky to become to your liking, and if you believe, it probably will.
Once I had this beautiful sky with huge planets
The sky was crimson, vanilla, violet, and indigo with lights gleaming as though the sun was setting. And the planets were huge, I mean, really huge. It looked like one of those big moons that are barely away from the land surface. Come to think of it, the school - the only building I remember - was really beautiful, better than hogwarts.
But apart from that I don’t remember any skies, not even grey ones.
I have seen many gray skies in LDs. And some pretty skies. Some really beautiful skies. And trippy skies with swirling streaks of color or geometric shapes spinning around. But this morning I saw many skies because they kept changing when I looked away like the text RC. With a new one every time, the landscape changed too.
I’m experiencing this problem lately too, whenever I look up at the sky, it’s this grey/blue. And very boring, but just last night I had a dream where it was broad daylight and the stars were sparkling, quite interesting.
I’ve seen the sky twice… The first time it was full of stars and huge planets, I think one of them was Kronos (my favorite planet), it was sooooo cool!! But the second time it was just an ordinary blue sky, I didn’t really pay any attention to it… 
In my last LD, I looked up at the sky and it was very grey…but it also had a really big rainbow. The rainbow wasnt very impressive though. 
Last night I willed lucid dream just to see how my skies look and they look beautiful. The clouds look like cool whip spread across a vanilla background.
My skies are usually pretty, it’s usually a night sky with a full moon but the weird thing is as long as you’re not looking at it it seems like it’s daytime, I don’t look at it much though. I had 2 LD’s last night, (I’ve had them three nights in a row so far, 
) and I was thinking of stuff to do on this forum so I remebered this topic and I wanted to get a good look at mine. I landed, (I was flying when I thought of it,) and looked up at the sky an it was so pretty! It was a very dark almost black blue and there were stars and and full moon and an occasional light blue cloud. 
I makes me want to look at it more often! 
Last night I had a dream that became lucid because of the sky…

It’s usually always night time in my dreams… I wonder if that means anything? Even so, the night skies are often breathtaking, with many subtle hues, beautiful clouds, and brilliant stars and planets.
When it’s not night in my dreams, there’s a brilliant light from the sky and all I can see is a blinding white when I look up.
The only time that I remember a very beautiful sky was when I became lucid once. It was a blue sky, but the clouds were making weird shapes. First it made a cube shape, then it changed rapidly to another cloud thing. Hard to explain but it was cool.
Hmm I never look at the sky in LD’s.
I’ve the impression that beautiful skies may be seen when I’m far from home in LD’s. When I’m flying near home, skies look like normal. It’s only in unknown landscapes that I noticed pretty skies.
The one time I looked up in the sky it was night and there were TONS of stars and a large red/orange planet. It was amazing!
I had a small LD where I looked up to the sky. It was really beautiful. It was really bright and darkish blue. I could feel the sunlight coming in from it. There were white clouds which were GLOWING white light all around. It was awesome!
