why did this happen

Hate is a harsh word, but its whatever. I think that your SC tries to make you a better person from what I’ve experienced. A lot of times in my dreams, the DC’s are a reflection of myself. So you may be seeing how you would act. The SC does this to get you to think,“Oh wow. I didn’t know I was like that. Maybe I should change the way I do stuff now.” This is my opinion or unproven theory how the SC works.

I only dont listen when i cant hear what they’re saying or i hate them (that means my SB hates me and since its a reflection of me that means I hate myself

I like to swordfight but everyone i know is too scared to swordfight me so im ganna do it in a LD but are the DCs gonna be just as good as me? (if they are ill use it as practice too not just fun

very cool and well it all depends. some of them could be worse, the same, or even better. You could also probably learn a few moves from them too. In your dream you could find yourself on some sort of stage and you can choose the difficulty of your opponent  could be anything

you probably meant befriend. and yes it is. i’ve heard some people have this is a LD.

you also probably shouldn’t post so many separate questions. think of all your questions and make a single post and ask them all at once. that would make the forum cleaner. ok?

this means that his SC was trying to tell him that he was dreaming, but your friend didn’t want to accept it. it happens sometimes.

lucid dreams come from having confidence mainly. if you got disappointed, sad or felt strange or lost motivation, your LDs could stop just like that.

I would probably choose hard if i could because everyone i know is WAY too easy

my brother had another one like that but he managed to figure it out. it was his teacher writing your dreaming on the board then started chanting it

1.if you die in a lucid dream is there any way to stay asleep?
2.I’ve heard chocolate and milk give you more vivid dreams is this true?
3.does anyone know how to make sure no one in my family reads my dream journal
4.does anyone know any tips to stay calm in LD’s
5.does anyone know how to make it so you think normally in a dream

                                                       :help:
  1. i’ve died in dreams but never woke up from it. i haven’t died in a LD, but i don’t think it would wake you up. or just avoid death.
  2. chocolate facilitates melatonin release i think… and that gives you more vivid dreams. if i remember right.
  3. keep your DJ online in LD4all. if they can’t log in, they can’t read it.
  4. now that i can’t answer
  5. become lucid. and you should think normally.

5.you don’t think normally on every LD because one time my dad was in a store an i find out that I’m dreaming when I’m in the car and i stayed in there until i worked out that I’m in a dream it doesn’t matter

well then the lucidity is too low. you need to increase your lucidity. also what helps is make a plan about what you do before you have a LD ( = go to bed). just make a plan “i will go here, do this and that” and things like that shouldn’t keep you for very long.

this could also be due to the fact that you are a kid  you’re used to listening to your parents, cause you have to. that’s why you stayed in the car
i know it can suck with DCs. today i had a LD and my grandma tried to stop me from going… i could have just gone. but i needed to tell her to sit and let me go cause i wanted to be nice to her xD instead she turned into a monster and wouldn’t let me go :meh:

lol

  1. if you die and if it doesn’t surprise you maybe you will stay asleep

  2. I’ve experience with milk and I can say that it helps

  3. online DJ or you can write a digital one and protected it with password

  4. calmness usually comes by it self, with more experience you will have more calmness, some people use meditation for this kind of problems and having and objective is very important

  5. Like avalinah said, it’s very good to have a objective before bed, because once you are lucid your mind will start wondering and trying to do something, and usually because of to much analyzing things you will loose lucidity or your lucidity will be spent on something less cool! Maybe if you had an objective you could’ve said to your parents that you want to do this or that, like avalinah did in her last dream…

1 ) i have died in a lucid dream and woken up in an alien world/ heaven/ hell/ past life, and so many other places. You can stay in the lucid dream. Just don’t let the death shock you, simply accept it. Another reason why you wake up is because you close your eyes and when you try to open them again you end up opening your physical eyes. So try to keep your dream eyes open.
2 ) Milk has an amino acid called tryptophan, which helps you go asleep faster but has nothing to do with dream vividness. However i heard that orange juice does increase the vividness of the dream.
3 ) I had the same problem. I constantly had erotic dreams and there was no way i could let any of my family members read that. I suggest you having a full copy of all your dreams online. For example of LD4all forums or as a text file. But have a temporary one near your bed as waking up and turning on your computer is enough for you to forget the dream. Destroy the temporary one after you have it saved on the computer.
4 ) This comes purely out of practice. I know it can be frustrating when your hard earned lucid dream was ruined because of excitement but its so hard to stay calm you have just discovered your own private world. After like 10 or 15 LDs you will get used to it.
5 ) This too comes out of practice. The more you lucid dream the more awakened your conscious brain will be. But i think some methods such as WILD allow the brain to be more awake than other methods. Its hard to think normally. Remember you are supposed to be asleep. You can however think up to an extent if you keep repeating to your self that it is just a dream. If you find your self in a lucid dream and don’t know what to do, it helps if you write down your plans and ideas. BTW as a warning : don’t get too involved with thinking and internal dialogue, keep them to a minimum because if you stop paying attention to the dream 1 of 2 things will happen. You will either lose lucidity (trust me it happens frequently) or the dream quickly fades away

sorry if its in the wrong place. at the beginning of my dream all my friends got turned into mindless zombies by the slender man. then they started trying to capture me. when they finally got me in his car i was sitting down when i realized I’m dreaming so i decided to have a bit of fun so i told the slender man guess what i can fly then i open the door and fly out. when i finally land hes there so i teleport somewhere hes there and it goes on like that for the rest of the dream he even found me in a military base and if you think you have had a worse DC comment.

my first lucid dream was where i was in a field place with my living room and bathroom in it. i did a bunch of RCs but they all failed  then i pulled my finger and it came off. so i went through the mirror where i ended up in a shop and took silly bandz to destroy  and i left the store when a girl walked up to me with a scooter and said “i stole your scooter even though its not yours”

1why was my DC acting so weird
2why did i take the silly band even though im in a dream
3why do people think it is hard to stay in a first LD for long time

I don’t know because I never had a LD yet, but to answer the first two questions, maybe because you’re a silly person yourself? lol

i read in “exploring the world of lucid dreaming” that you can practice things in lucid dreams and you get better at them
