Why The Hell?!

So know I have a few lucid dreams behind me and I have some experience but lately I get those dreams from unsuccessful WILD and I become lucid.

So the thing is I’m in a dream and the trigger is something completely illogical and when I’m still in the process of realizing that it’s a dream I don’t even get excited my dream end. That happened a few times now, you know it’s such a perfect DILD and I don’t even get the chance to do RC I wake up.

Ok, I only have one possible reason why is that happening:

Maybe I’m just too rested when attempting. Because that happened when I tried WILD after almost 9 hours of straight sleep. And I believe that I may had light sleep and I was kicked out easier then I would be like in 4 - 6 hours of sleep.

It a little bit frustrating because it’s perfect chance for LD but I just wake up every time, any thoughts?!

Could it be a FA? I don’t think it would be because you are to rested, you usually dream longer the more you sleep…

This is kinda strange… are you used to waking up at that time? Maybe it could be when your used to getting up normally so even if you didn’t become lucid you would wake up anyways… but probably not…

How many times has it happened? It could just be all in your head. :puh:

i dont think rcing is meant to keep you in the dream, i think its just to show you your dreaming in the first place

I think he means once he realizes it might be a dream it just ends, he doesn’t get the chance to try and RC to confirm this.

True, but you will wake up at some point when your body is rested…

I don’t think that’s the problem here, because I entered in REM stage and I should be asleep and I usually sleep around 10 - 12 hours  . I think the problem was in something else, which I don’t know what it was but know the problem is solved all by itself  .

Also true, but I found RC as mere reminder on that I’m in a dream once I’m lucid and by doing frequent RC I prolong my lucid dreams and bring stability in them; at least when I get the chance! :content:
