WILD problems

ok, i tried to WILD last night but i found that i was just staying awake. Like i did the counting and creating a falling sensation, but i just kept myself awake like usual and no HI came or ne thing. Eventually i got bored and just went to sleep cause it was about one oclock. any ideas what i could do about this?

When I first used WILD the same thing happened to me. (even to this day it does…) In my opinion when learning how to WILD the best method would be to use it with WBTB, then once you have that down you can try from full awake to lucid. But if you really want to try to go from awakefulness to lucid go ahead. But dont “give up” atleast goto sleep with a MILD intention. :wink:

Try WBTB, try not to focus on your body, maybe meditate before you WILD (should help you sleep in faster)

Yeah, I found WBTB to be the best for me. Happens every time, if I let it. Sometimes I can be a little scared. :smile: So if you go to bed at 10:30, say you’ll fall asleep by 11:00, set your alarm for 5 AM giving you 6 hours of sleep. For me I can just stay in bed, you might have to get up for a few minutes. Experiment!
