WILD Success/Problem

Hi guys, I’ve been trying WILD a lot recently, and my biggest problem seems to be relaxing mentally. As soon as I try to fall asleep for a WILD, I start thinking too much and don’t drift off.
But yesterday I fell asleep really early, for about at hour or so. (I was really tired with exams and all :bored: ). At some point I was woken up by something, and I was still half asleep, but i remembered to try have a WILD. It almost worked, and I’ve done this before, but it’s always random.
Does anyone know how i can recreate this? How I can notice when i wake up during the night, and remember to try WILD before I’m too awake?

Thanks!

I’ve been having the same problem. What helps me is sitting up in bed for a minute or so whenever I wake up. I find it much easier to WILD after only a minute or so of being awake than after being up for 10 or 15 minutes.

It helps raise your awareness so you’re not really groggy and unable to focus, but doesn’t wake you up enough so it takes a lot of time to go back to sleep.

Well, that’s what works for me, give it a try

use the WB2B method along with the WILD. try not to wild as soon as you go to bed as you have to move through the entire sleep cycle before dreams, it takes time, if you wake up in the middle of the night and try it you are much more likey to have success.

So set an alarm on your mobile, a gentle one, wake up switch it off, think about lucid dreaming and try and wild your self to sleep

practice, it gets eaiser

I nearly did it last night! Nearly…
I fell asleep without meaning to, (I.e. I wasn’t ready for bed or anything, I was reading in bed), last night. So I wasn’t sleeping very deeply, and I probably kept waking up everynow and then. At one point when that happened i started to WILD without rlly thinking about it (I was still pretty sleepy), and I was nearly there and… My alarm went off! :grrr: At 6 Am?? it wasnt even set for then… Stupid thing must be broken or something. :wallhit:
