Hey.
I’ve been trying a combination of WBTB and MILD for a long time now - to limited ( …or to rephrase no) success. But last night something crazy happened, which fits some of the experiences of WILD that I have read about on this site.
Basically, thanks to a combination of circumstances, I was very relaxed and tired. This was because I had a long active day in which I went to bed late (although only slightly later than normal - 12:30ish) and was the passenger of a long car journey before going to bed (which makes me very lathargic) and I had a cup of tea in bed which makes me very relaxed.
But what felt like very soon after going to bed I began hearing these weird loud noises (similar to white noise) which reminded me that I might be WILDing but I was extremeley disorientated and couldn’t take it any further and fell asleep soon after.
My questions are:
Why was it that I started WILDing instead of going straight to sleep? Because I have tried WILD before and it has never been succesful - I am usualy to awake and simply get bored and frustrated.
How can I do this again - should I combine it with WBTB? Because I can’t really rely on the circmustances that caused it last night.
