Ive been trying to WILD and i normally listen to that stuff, so i was wondering if that could negatively effect it. One more thing when i was trying WILD before, my body began to get numb and my back got a very warm sensation and i kinda felt like i was sinking in my pillow but then i got a real bad itch and couldn’t resist itching, was this a sign that i was getting closer to lucid or did it really mean nothing.
Yeah… it happenes to me often. The itching part. You must resist if you want a good WILD . I try SDR (stop drop and roll) every night, and each time my ear itches. I must think of something… like a daydream and the itching fades away. First thing to do is not to move whatsoever.
The numbing sensation and the want to move are your bodies attempts to see if your asleep. If you can fool yourself by not moving it will help you WILD. Speaking of WILD’s, I had this amazing WILD when I was in school last year. I had just woken up from a nap and decided to try to do a WILD (again.) Seconds after I stilled myself and closed my eyes I saw hypnogogia (the flashes of color and stuff before a dream) and got really excited. It was my first (and only) WILD and I went to take control of my dream self. Unfortunately sleep paralysis didn’t kick in and I could still feel my waking self. So what happened was I stopped moving and was stuck till I woke up a few minutes later.
oh that’s kinda weird scipio. sucks that you weren’t able to do much.
