Would this be a good thing to do to start off a LD?

Okay so I have a list of things to do in a LD to make it as good as possible.
First would be to do a nose RC, and if that worked (Im lucid) I look at my hands just as a double check (I heard that increased lucidity somewhere), and then rub my hands together for a little, then yell ‘‘lucidityx1000’’. Then after this part, I’d be off flying around and stuff.
So my question is, is this a good idea? Or is it overkill? I just wanna get the most I can out of a lucid dream. lol

I have a list like that too, mine goes

  1. RC (Get lucid)
  2. Rub hands while calming myself down
  3. Take the lucid pill (Much like your Lucidity x1000)
  4. Spin around & Fall backwards (This has some weird effect that’ll stabilize the dream, much like hand rubbing but in another way).
  5. Do some simple math (to activate my logic parts of the brain)
  • And then I’m set to go.
Obviously some would consider this overkill, but I think it’s well worth it’s 3-4 minutes if it means prolonging and enhancing my lucidity by 10-20 minutes.

You’ve got a good plan laid out, MovieMe. The simple way of saying it is make sure you’re dreaming, stabalize the dream, get out and have fun :content:.

Safety comes first

Nice and tidy guide.

The last couple LDs I had, ive been doing RCs over and over to stablize and prolong the LD (then I get lost after that)
The very last LD I had, it worked and I had a long LD, except I warped into about 2 or 3 places. And at one point of the LD I went into a “black void street” and while walking down the black void street I could see like some windows and doors flashing and stuff, like a glitch? and I started spinning and moving my hands trying to make things appear (I forgot that spinning helps when I did it randomly), then I warped somewhere else. After I warped I was showing off the finger through palm RC to my DCs Lol…

But usually my problem is after doing RCs, I sit and wonder for a bit about what I want to do and feel lost for a moment, then I run and leap off and fly til the dreams over, rather than doing what I wanted to do.

That’s why it is important during the day and right before falling asleep again, to go over in your mind what you want to do once you are lucid.
