In my dream I was going to a war. I thought to myself “This has to be a dream, because I would never go into war.” So anyway after thinking that, I got into a military truck and it started going towards the war. A few feet later, I thought to myself “This is too slow, I’m going to fly.” So I got out of the truck and started floating up. Then I woke up.
Also during the dream I didn’t do any reality checks and the dream was slowly fading. (Like my eyes were slowly closing and the place was turning to black)
yes. As far as I can tell you had a low level LD. Congratulations =D
I don’t do RCs in a lot of my lucid dreams, cause it’s just obvious that it’s a dream. RCs are a good thing to do though, because they also stabilize the state, and give you more power. As a rule I try and do reality checks every time I LD, even if I know I’m dreaming already.
For the first part of your question, your body in a dream works exactly like your real life body (minus a few obvious things like breathing, blinking, ect.) And if your dreams, like most dreams, start in first person view, then you just have to act like you would in real life. If you want to go open the window and jump out just say outloud (or think it) “im going to go over there, open this window and jump out” and just think of yourself doing as you said. Now controling the things besides yourself in the dream, that comes down to You and your Willpower. There are a heap of posts about how to shift the dreamscene via doors, spinning, flying, ect., so make sure to read up on those!
Second, yes it is perfectly normal not to see your body, now if you stick your arms out and they… aren’t there, then you just have to BELIVE they are, because after all, its YOUR dream!
Also, congrats on your LD and keep up the good work! ‘^o^’
