Writing down a dream inside a dream

Alright, I don’t usually publish my dreams online but this is by far my craziest case of dream-dream-journalling so far

I “woke up” in a hotel or apartment, with some friends lying next to me, and had my dream journal lying on top of me. I started writing down the dream I just had before, which was a ‘false asleep’ dream (meaning: I dreamt of falling asleep in this same bed, as opposed to false awakening ). I was unaware of having a FA now though! So I continue, writing down the previous dream completely.

The crazy thing: I have a habit of writing ‘RC’ first whenever I write down a dream, with the intent of reminding myself to perform a reality check. So in this FA I wrote ‘RC’ TWICE: one on top, and one in the middle of the dream, but for once didn’t actually DO it!

Has anyone else had similar facepalm-ish experiences? If so I’d be glad to hear them

(I’m aware that this might not fit in General Lucidness, but I felt like sharing it with the world and not a members-only place)

Ha ha! Yeah, lots of those. Not with the journaling, but with plenty which deserved a nice healthy :ack: at the end. June 20th was the most recent of these types of false going to sleep/false awakening type events

Even more interesting is to first become lucid…and then go to sleep and enter another dream from the first dream, while staying lucid  :woo:

Once, during a FA, I reached over to my notebook, only to see that every inch of page was filled with bizarre symbols that were twisting, warping, and spinning. Every page was in this state.

Yeah…I actually missed that dream sign.

I once had a similar experience, strangely the tint on the pen I was using would change color while Iwas writting… I just thought something strange was going on with the tint and nothing else… can´t believe I missed that dream sign.
