Your Dreamworld

So, how’s the environment in which Ir dreams usually take place? A bright place? A dark place? Neither of them? I think it may tell a lot about your mind. Here’s mine:

My dreams take place always in buildings, towns, or cities. It’s almost always night, very cloudy, or both. I’ve never seen rain, snow, or fog. The few times the sun is there, it is a false sun, which shines but doesn’t make me see better, actually it gives my eyes hell, it makes everything blurry.

The people are like those of a large city, they keep going about their business, they don’t mind me. They all wear very regular, boring clothes.

It’s a dull, lifeless world. I never feel comfortable or happy, I’m either desperately thinking about something else, or worrying about something. I often get lost in some faraway town, and have trouble getting “home”, desperately (and unsuccessfully) trying to contact my relatives or having a hard time finding the right bus or train to go home.

It only ends when I wake up.

my dreamscapes are usually very boring

i don’t pay much attention to them at all

come to think of it it’s usually dim lighting, night a lot

mostly in towns or cities, very rarely in the wilderness, in fact almost never!

I have seen snow but no rain

The people are usually very normal

I don’t ever pay much heed to the dreamscape, it seems that i’m in this place and that’s where i am supposed to be

Mine tend to be dark, not in an overbearing way but there’s often something sinister about them. It’s night most of the time, and there’s often rain or the evidence that there has recently been rain.

More often than not they take place in ancient looking settings, ruins or old walled cities, often overgrown with creepers and weeds. I don’t really know what, if anything, this says about me.

As well as the rain there seems to be a lot of focus on large bodies of water, be it the sea, an inlet, river or lake, there’s almost always something like that around.

My dreamscapes are NEVER THE SAME.

Thats all i can say.

Wow, it’s hard to specify, but the neighbourhood in wich I live is very common as a setting. Weather is usually normal. Most things are normal usually. But I do unusual things. I am also often in unknown buildings of various types, walking through corridors.

i dont have just one dreamland. all my dreams take place in different places. though i dont think they go to far out of the uk or a uk type climate.

The environment changes a lot to suit the story, but for the most part they are nature related in some way. The overall mood is one of enjoyment, usually. There is always a story going on (even if it makes no sense when awake ), so it’s like the feeling you get from reading a really great book.

The temperature is always a nice spring-like one, not too hot or too cold; even if it’s winter and I’m knee deep in snow. Its usually sunny out, though I’ll get an overcast dream every once in a while. Only rarely do I get night dreams, and even then I usually end up staring at the beautiful moon or something during them.

Sometimes there will be no people at all, but usually I have one or two companions. Often times it’s just us and the dream doesn’t bother to fill in the other people that should be walking around. If it does, though, they are generally friendly as long as I’m not rude to them.

It’s usually very bright if I’m outside. It can be dark when I’m inside, but only if it has any relevance to the dream. A strange thing that usually happens, is that the setting changes from real life to a 2D game =P

And I love my dreams. The story’s usually a good one. It’s the main idea that I like, but details are kinda weird. I once married a ghost ;D
That dream was kinda dark, gothic, dreamy (no kidding xD) and beautiful.

I’m usually facing some moral dilemma (forbidden love, accidentally destroying something very important, oblivion, an impossible choice etc.). And the environment changes to adjust the story (where people change ALL the time).

My dreams always know how to leave me wanting more >_<

My ND ’ s take place in familiar locations Ie: around my house, at the beach, but mostly in a certain field with clear blue skies and big white puffy clouds. Only in my LD 's are my dreamscapes different. My Lucid dreams take place wherever i want them to, usually in the town where i live and spend most of my days hanging out. As for DC 's i don’t really remember any being there… EVER

My dreams usually focus on one, two, or three people at most. For example my last dream that i could remember i was hanging out in my front lawn with three asian girls lol. They always stood in a row; in ascending order of height.

Mine are different pretty much every time. I’m usually not inside though.
Sometimes I can be in completely different places within the same dream.
A few nights ago I had a dream in which I was camping on some field, together with some of my friends and several characters from Harry Potter. Even though most of the DCs got brainwashed and hated me at the end, I liked the dream because I got to snog Ginny Weasley.
Anyway, when I went to look for an empty tent (for me and Ginny cough), I ended up in a jungle with a tiger and a dinosaur.
Point is, I went from a field to a jungle, in the same dream. I had my first, and so far only, lucid dream inside my room. Seems like I don’t have a special dreamworld, lol. I think, however, that most of my dreams are dark, as if it was night or dusk. Far from all, though.

-Lucid dreams:
Outside and inside environments are very bright, colors such as blue, pink, and red are especially vivid. The scenery varies wildly if I am outdoors, although for the most part the people are greyscale and bland(they ignore me). The sky and horizon are usually very blurry, although trees and terrain in the foreground are usually crisp. Indoors the colors are more muted and shadows are exaggerated.

-Normal dreams:
Boring dreams are mostly in color, people are talkative and animated. In the more intense dreams the colors remind me of Sin City, dark and high-contrast, with certain colors almost glowing(depending on the scenario). Background noises are almost nonexistant. DC’s make frequent eye contact. Locations are usually familiar, although I frequently end up in an unknown environment too.
