Hey guys, I’ve been having major recall issues since I’ve returned to LDing, im not letting them discourage me because I’ve sworn to practice LDing for at least 2 years straight but its still pissing me off. In 2003, when I first started LDing, my first night I remembered 3 dreams and my 2nd night I remembered 6 dreams. I’ve been practicing for one week exactly and I have only recalled 7 dreams total. I was lucky enough to have one lucid dream though. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips besides the usual. I have my dream journal infront of my alarm clock everday, I set my intent every night. The reason why I post was I’ve had zero recall 3 days in a row now so I figure I must be doing something wrong. Anyone have this problem or heard of it?
And if you have do you know how I might go about fixing it?
I had similar. When I started to write in a DJ, my recall was increasing for few days and then suddenly it dropped down to zero. I stopped then to write down my dreams. After next few days I could again remember my dreams, but it is rather like something during the day reminds me of what was in my dream, I don’t remember my dreams just after waking up.
I had zero RC two nights in a row and I was worried, so I really worked hard to remember them and the next night I remembered 6. Hopefully I can keep it up.
You’re probably just in a drought. Should be over it within a week, I suspect.
yeah the drought did end while the message boards were down. Since then I’ve remembered 4 dreams but only got to write 2 down.
It just happens…I have those droughts more often than I’d like but I don’t let them stress me out because I know the memories will come when they’re ready. Just go with the flow.
Not sure if this has something to do with the actual problem, but your mind tricks you sometimes. It leaves you thinking you didn’t dream, for sure. But if you think closer about it, you remember it very good. Your mind doesn’t want you to remember it.

Thank god, I thought I was the only one with that issue. After the ## of DRs shot up, they came right back down.
My recall is back at 0 again for the past 2 days but at this point I’m pretty sure I know what it is. I think my body is pretty much tired (no pun intended) of the melatonin I take every night. I’ve been sleeping waaaaay too hard. For instance, today I woke up with my face smashed into my pillow and my blanket all the way over my head. I think im just going to go without the b-12 and melatonin for a few days and if my recall improves I’m quitting them forever.
