I have read that the mind cannot tell the difference to what the body is physicaly going through and what you are just thinking. An experiment was done with 2 groups of right handed people. both groups were given excersised to learn to write with their left hand, and they were to practice for the same amount of time each day.
But one group were given extra training time, with which
they were only to close their eyes and think about writing with their left hand.
The group who had the extra training through thought alone learnt to write with the left hand quicker.
Because the mind cannot tell the difference between just thinking and actualy doing,it was as if the second group really did do more physical training.
If this is the case, then could’nt a person who had some disease, have a lucid dream and create within that dream, a healer or scorcerer of some kind, and have that character heal them. To do this every night. Would the mind not be able to tell the difference if it was real or not.
The mind after all is more powerful than anything we can imagine.
I think that LD has a lot to offer, maybe more than people realise, and that if humanity can become exceptional at mastering LD,then maybe, just maybe,we could cure ourselves of anything. physical and mental illness.
I think that LD could be humanities brighter future.
But we need to recognise this, and take it seriously.
Then again, perhaps im talking out of my rear end and havnt got a clue.
