ok so ive been brought back to LDing a few days ago and this is wat ive been doing:
doing RC’s ALOT during waking hours (like ever 2-3minutes or lower) and, since im using the MILD technique at the moment, ive been saying “tonight i WILL realize im dreaming” over and over until i fall asleep. but for the past few days i havent been getting dreams (i usually have excellent DR)
Well how long have you been trying to have an LD?
It seems like your doing everything fine. When falling asleep, make sure when you tell yourself your going to have an LD, your not just saying the words with no meaning Make sure you acully MEAN them.
And Remember, just because your doing things right, doesn’t mean your garenteed an LD. Be patient, and if an LD still doesn’t come, take a break for a while, it may just come when your on that break!
Its not about saying the words, its about deciding to have a LD, you just have to set your mind to it, decide that you will have, know that you will have one and you will. the affirmations are just a method of introducing the fact that you will have a LD to your SC.
Just keep trying, it will come to you.
about the DR, if you wake up and do not recall anything, try staying still, lying on your back on the bed, moving as less as possible from the moment you wake up, thoughts about your dream should come to you. Do not try remembering your dream, just lie there relaxed and it should come.
I wish you the best

Saying/Repeating a mantra is nice; but if you’re not focused on the meaning of the words, i.e. your intent to realize your dreaming, your not going to get very far. If you find your mind drifting off as you repeat your mantra be sure to bring it back and keep the focus on the meaning of the words in your mantra.
If you get to that point you’re 95+% of the way to having an LD. After all, dreaming is a completely mental thing and it follows that if you know you’re going to have an LD you will.
I absolutely agree.
You might try using MILD with WBTB, as it often allows for a clear recall of a dream in which you can “see” yourself becoming lucid.
Wow im honored to have the great Lucidity Master reply on my thread
thanks bunches guys for your help!!!
tonight i know i will have an LD and ill keep reassuring that i know ill have one and it will happen when going to sleep tonight. i have confidence that tonight might be my first LD experience =]
Hey, Heres something you might want to think about if you get too frustraighted with trying to get an LD.
Normally I try the WILD Tech. But last night I was so tired, and I know WILD Is best when your tired, but I just didn’t have the energy to try. So I went to sleep.
That night, The night I didn’t really even try, I had my Second LD! All I did was feebly tell myself I would have an LD once, while falling alseep and I did! So remember. If you start getting really frustraighted and impatient, take a break. It just could be the night you have an LD
like when i wake up i dont remember, but as im getting ready for school, the dream comes back to me. but for the past few days (execpt today) i havent been remembering
it is possible that you had a LD and did not remember it. maybe you should focus on improving your dream recall before trying to induce LDs. When I woke up this morning I could not remember any of my dreams for some reason, some time after I remembered I did in fact have a dream and it was a lucid one but I could only remember a very small fragment of it where someone offered to make my dead flower alive. By the way, today my room mate gave me a new flower to replace the dead one!
I already told you this but if you cant remember anything try laying still while NOT thinking of your dream, just look up and it should come to you, keep as still as possible
And have patience, the LD’s will come if you just try. My methods are WILD and WBTB. I recommend the BTB-method, its almost success every time
And most important, never give up.
