The idea is to move to a silent secluded place while you’re lucid. This way you will not be distracted, then summon your subconcious. I’m not sure if you would have to call out and ask your subconcious to come to you, or if you would just will it there. Either way once your subconcious is in front of you in what ever form it may take, talk to it. Ask it questions.
When I try I am going to ask:
Are you my subconcious?
Why did you take this form?
What do you think about me?
What do you think about life?
What did you do today?
And most likely question it on the answers it gives.
I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile now, and I wanted to know if anyone else has tried it. If you have would you mind posting the results here?
I like the question “what did you do today?” Sounds like a normal everyday question but the answer should be something quite out of the ordinary. And you can ask it every day, and you might learn something significant about yourself. what a great question for the subconscious.
do you reckon we could get our subconscious to get rid of like, a disease or something? In our real bodies, we could get rid of disease or whatnot, using lucid dreaming to communicate with our subconsciouses!
I’m sure we could be capable of achieving many things if we master it. So far I’ve had one conversation with something which I dont believe was my subconscious.
Then I had a conversation with what I was posative was my subconscious, and got the most confusing answers I have ever heard. I cant even remember them, I just remember feeling more confused then I ever have before.
Don’t expect any coherent answers–my subconcious gets weird enough when I’m still awake (but very tired). I expect it to run like an interview with Homsar:
All right, then. For the record, please. Tell us who you are.
DaAaAaA! I’m a song from the sixties!
That’s just nonsense. Are you trying to make some sense?
AaAaA! Rightio! I think I can twice!
Homsar, tell us about your childhood.
DaAa! I was raised by a cup of coffee.
Interesting. So! How did you end up here?
Twas the pride of the peaches.
'Twas the pride of the peaches, huh? You got any last remarks?
DaAaA! Don’t fake the funk on a nasty dunk!
The entire subconscious thing…didn’t work out for me I actually got into a HUGE god-sized fight with my subconscious over control of the dreamscape
The thing was, I was lucid and in control of everything–literally godly–but my subconscious seemed to be working…against me to take back the dreamworld. I really couldn’t control it…so I fought it
You know what sucks when you’re battling your subconscious for supreme power? It’s always got a ‘one-up’ on you. You’re instantly at a disadvantage because your subconscious knows loads more stuff than you do consciously AND because it’s the dreamverse it can be anywhere at any given moment It’s omnipresent in addition to being omnipotent AND omniscient!
I’ll post it later tonight in my DJ…after I get out of my class. It was a really creepy dream just because I was fighting myself
Actually, I would not advise anyone to argue with their subconscious unless they wanted hell to pay later on, be it in an ND or even an LD.
That’s just my opinion, though. I got into a full scale dreamscape war with mine over how I was using my LD abilities, and at first it was fun, but then it began getting really frustrating because I was like, “Hey! This is MY lucid dream! Why can’t you just leave me alone!?” >.<
And I couldn’t even make it go away (believe me, after the first few minutes I tried, but it was like we both had separate control of the dreamverse and neither of us wanted to give it up
I’ve been posting this all over the forum…just curious though…anyone else have something similar happen
buahahahaha
that sounds like some joke
i wonder if you can compromise with your subconscious (ex: you can control A and i can control B)
or are you guys too absolute that you’d never give up any control?
