tonight, i had 2 LD’s, its also my first time chaining dreams together.
ive tried lucid dreaming before in the summer, but i just not got into it, so these are only my 2nd and 3rd lucid dreams, but they both lasted longer then my first.
over the past week ive been doing RC’s every time i pass under a door, hear the words “reality check” or see anything extremely abnormal (mostly things on tv) and when i “woke up” this morning, i did the nose-plug one, and as it turns out,i could still breath.
at this point, i realized i was dreaming, and got up out of bed, (fully dressed) and starting walking around.
i went outside, but the scenery was like my friends house, i was on his patio for some reason. So, i just kept walking and went across the street for some reason, when it started to fade. i could see things going blurry, like i somehow got piss drunk in 5 seconds, and tried spinning in place, because i read that that could increase awareness, but i forgot to keep my eyes open.
so things just got more blurry, so i grabbed a fire hydrant, trying to stay in the dream, but i still woke up.
so im sitting there with my eyes open, i do another RC, im not dreaming, but i decide to go back to sleep. i wake up at what my clock says is 1pm (a bit late even for me), so i do another RC, and i can breath!
this time i get up, and the dream immediately starts to fade. i try something desperate to stay in control, so i do what i read in a different post, “put things in your mouth” (the guys says its not a joke ) so i grab some random quarters off my dresser (that werent there before) and start shoveling them into my mouth trying to eat them. at this point i know its a dream, because somehow i can chew them. they tasted really metallicky, and not very good, but i decided to swallow what i had in my mouth, and throw the rest out the window (which smashes on contact) and the dream stays for about 15 seconds, and starts fading again.
so here comes the drunk feeling, and i step outside the hall, and some hot chicks standing there. The dream starts getting extremely blurry at this point, but i can still see, so i cant tell whats going on up until the point where everything goes black.
I wake up in my bed, and do an RC, but im not dreaming.
at this point, the clock says 11am, so my dream clocks a LIAR
but overall, i’d like to know just how i can get better lucidity, and stay in the dream longer without having to wake up.
