I’ve read some conflicting advice about caffeine and lucid dream induction. I usually drink a caffeinated beverage at lunch and dinner (coca-cola mostly) and i’m wondering what effect this might have on my LD ability.
I’m dropping caffeine for the next few days in the hopes that I will be able to fall asleep faster. Sometimes when I’m practicing an induction technique I just cannot fall asleep and frustration sets in. Though I have read caffeine can help keep your mind active even after you’ve fallen asleep, thereby making lucidity easier to attain.
