Can you be someone else in a LD?

I’m trying to become lucid, getting there soon… but, if you became lucid, could you imagine yourself being another person?

Those times that I have been lucid, I’ve been myself. But, I would think it is possible to be in another form while lucid. After all, it is your dream.

That is the beauty of it.

You are completely free to do as you choose.

I’m not sure you could be “fully” someone else in a dream unless you are happy to lose your lucidity after the transformation. Since if you remain lucid you would be able to change form/appearance but you will still be you ‘inside’.

You can transform into any person or anything at all. It’s not uncommon for people to try to become animals especially. Though, as you will still have your thoughts and memories, you can’t truly say you ARE that person, but your body can be however you like it to be.

I think -indeed- that you can transform, but you will not be the person in real life… sounds crazy :stuck_out_tongue: I mean… If you want to be your sister in your dream, you will look like her, but you will not have her feelings and thoughts but your own… And you will have your own dream (your sisters-look-a-like) but not her dreams.

So you can’t find out, by being her in a dream, with who she is in love, lol :happy:

When you say you want to be someone else do you mean you want to have their personality or looks? If you’re truly them then you would have their body and their personality. I don’t think you can be them 100%.

I know this doesn’t have much to do with the question but I like to talk to myself as another person (like two me’s). Sometimes its kinda like being a different person while being the same person… if thats not confusing… :confused:
