Chakra meditation for LD (Dream Yoga)

I have came to the realisation that conscious awareness is a thought (energy) itself. You know when you think about something frequently and long enough it becomes habit-like, conditioned into the subconscious mind. Our dreams are filled with our most frequent and deeply planted thoughts. So what I am suggesting is that we can frequently generate the thought of conscious awareness to become habit-like in our minds. This will plant that the thought (or reality) of being consciously aware into our subconsciousness. This essentially described Dream Yoga. It is very similar to reality checks except instead of creating the thought of questioning whether this is a dream or not, you intentionally experience conscious awareness. Dream Yoga is pretty much reality checks stripped down. The goal is to make shifting into conscious awareness a habit, thus it occurs during the dream realm as well.

Now if you understood what Chakras are, you would know that each chakra represents a portion of the consciousness. Each chakra is located at an important endocrine gland. The 7th (crown) chakra is linked to the Pineal Gland. Some of you may already know that the Pineal Gland is heavily involved with dreams and can increase the vividness and intensity of them. When focusing on the crown chakra (top and center of the brain) you stimulate the pineal gland. This can be felt as a lightness or even blissful sensation at the top of the head. This energy is the energy that incites conscious awareness. This energy is limited to only a portion of the consciousness so moving this energy into the rest of the chakras can expand this energy throughout the rest of your consciousness. This will result in stronger urges to incite conscious awareness throughout the day. The more you put this energy into the rest of the consciousness, the more you will be influenced to incite conscious awareness. That is what energy does, it urges you to express it but in this case it urges you to incite conscious awareness so doing this technique right before bed can be effective.

Funnily enough, I never had success with LD’s when meditating on the third eye or crown. Just on the solar plexus, one (point-five?) times. I attributed it more to the construction of a focusing point, not necessarily because of the truth of some traditional esoteric practices or metaphysical energies.

It’s not the chakras themselves which support LD, I was referring to the energy of the pineal gland which you can produce upon stimulation at the Crown chakra. This pineal energy can be used to saturate the rest of the chakra which are important points of the nervous system which impact the consciousness. This pineal energy supports Lucid Dream.

I too have experienced success in LD from construction of a focusing point. One time I went into a deep trance to about the border between being conscious and day dreaming. This is where it is difficult to maintain focus as constant thoughts rush in the mind. But I focused on my conscious awareness the best I could with all my effort. This prepared me to be consciously aware when falling into a dream. That night I had a Lucid Dream.
