If you followed lessons, than you probably were cleaned by the teachers, for a big part.
Though there are a lot of other things besides aura/chakra’s that can block your own healing abilities.
Like what, PuddingBunny? And if someone were schooled and cleansed by their teachers. Do you think it’ll last or do you think there are things that need to be done to maintain the cleansliness?
Stuff sticking in your astral body, entities… you know, the weird stuff 
And yes, you do need to keep yourself clean. It will get dirty after a while again… just like you have to take showers now and then

Q, are you trained in Reiki? is that where you learned distance healing or was it Intergrated Energy Therapy? I signed up for the Reiki class to become certified because I am more familiar with it but I am very interested in the IET.
Has anybody ever heard of it or practice it?
No anam, i haven’t done Reiki. It wasn’t integrated energy therapy either.
Nobody has taught me distance healing. It is what I discovered I can do, and I use some of the things I learned in that education. What i did was called ‘intuitive development’ (first year) and the second part was the healing year. Founded by linda keen. She lives in the USA now but i believe they don’t give the courses anymore.
Thanks Q, I googled it, alot of books, but didn’t see anything on classes. Do you know what’s different with what you can do and Reiki? The only real specfic things I saw with Reiki that might make it worthwhile was the attunements and the hand positions but the universal energy seems very familiar ( definitly universal, something I’ve felt before). Do you think the attunements and hand positions are necessary, to do healing?
reiki is something different. The attunement you have with all healing.
reiki, you learn symbols, hand positions etc. (from what i know)
“my” kind of healing - is feeling/knowing/seeing where blocks are, where something is needed/removing, put specific energby that is needed… i tune into the person and it flows…
the barbara brennan school is a bit like what i’m doing. I also would like to be ecucated more in this, but i haven’t found my education yet.
linda keen wrote a book on intuition/healing etc, i dont know if it is translated in english, but her education is basically what she also teaches in the books.

That’s some pretty interesting stuff there you guys are talking about. I’ve heard of Reiki. There are a couple of people in Gloucester, MA and Rockport that are supposed to be really good. With both teaching and doing.
Do you know who they are specifically Ilum? Or what hey offer as far as classes?
I think I might still have a card in my planner. I’m not sure if they offer classes or if she did a one on one teaching. It’s been almost 4 years. (terrible to admit that I might still have the card in my purse)

Okay… tried this healing stuff out and from first hand experience. You most definitely HAVE to be prepared. It’s not something to do if you aren’t.
In my case, because I have a horrible habit of thinking I can handle everything. I did it and am paying the consequences. Healing in general is a wonderful gift but you have to prepare and protect yourself.

Are you familiar with Reiki? It deals a lot with distance healing and has incredible self-protection built in.

Funny you should mention that. No, I haven’t experienced it first hand.
I mean I have my lemurian, tourmalines and rose quartz that I love dearly and (I can’t forget my blue sphere)I use them for myself but not like what I’ve heard or briefly read.
