This is a story about a dream i had a few months ago, it is also my first post here.
I had a dream about a vr game i used to play a lot. The details of the game don’t matter but the things that happened in the dream do. I realized i was lucid instantly and started to try to stabilize the dream, but i was already close to waking up so it was futile. I started thinking about what do do without saying it out loud in the dream and my thoughts talked back to me! it was like there was someone in my head answering me. I dont remember our conversation but i remember slipping out of the dream and into real life.
when i woke up i saw a figure in the corner of my vision talking to me just like my mind was in the dream, like there was someone next to my bed who was messing with me! but when i looked closer they moved out of my vision and disappeared behind me. I reality checked and it was real life, dream imagery had persisted into real life temporary hallucinations.
This was the first time anything crazy like this had happened to me in a dream and it freaked me out the whole day! has anyone else had experiences like this?
Thats really cool, like.. having a second or even multiple different people inside your head, maybe not real, but real enough.. thats really cool, maybe you could make like a guide out of that person? Or like a friend?
Well I will tell you what I’ve had that was like that. One time I woke up I saw this light projected against the wall in my room, opposite the window that faced the front yard. it was all fuzzy and whiteish, and it looked like a projection of those bumper stickers people put on the back of their car like the dad, the mom, the kids, and the pets.
I rationalized it thinking that there had been a wreck or something wrong, and what I was seeing was a car behind a suv in my front yard shining their headlights through and into my window, projecting their stickers onto my wall.
I have seen weird ghosts or apparitions after waking up, especially when I was younger, not recently: They were never convincing and made me wonder if when people think they see ghosts and they don’t know about dreaming, that is what they are seeing.
And one time I dreamed about a dream guide asking him a question, he didnt have time to answer before I woke up. But I lay still in the bed and could hear an answer being portrayed or given to me after I woke.
And I love hearing experiences like your’s here.So often our dreams or recollections of them become expected and polished. Yours is one of those situations I say “you cant make up”. That person or being talking back to you is awesome, as weird or unsettling as it was, that was kinda a cool thing, because it won’t happen often. Always write those experiences down, cherish them. If it happened all the time I would be worried, but you will find in time, they don’t happen often enough.
