I hear that making a dream journal is a useful way to remember your dreams, help you have lucid dreams, and help you recognise dream signs. For me, there are problems which get in my way.

I sleep in the top bunk of a bunkbed, so I cannot have a dream journal or a lamp right by my bed.

If I wake up from a dream late at night, I am afraid that if I turn on a light and start writing in my dream journal, one of my parents might get up to go to the bathroom and see the light, then get angry that I am up so late.
3)This problem is only temporary, but it is still bad. For the next two weeks, my brother will be sleeping in my room. I don’t want to wake him up, so I will have to leave my room to update my dream journal. By the time I begin writing, I might have lost some of the memories of my dream.
