end of day's

now before you all say that theirs about 3 or 4 other threads on this (i think…i couldnt be bothered checkin’…hey its 10 pm and ive had a headache since christmas so leave me alone :grrr:  )
most of them are on about WHEN it will happen like 2012.

i want to know what you guys n’ gals think will happen when the earth ends or all human life is wiped out…wether 2012 or 48263927…whatchya think’ll happen?

will we destroy ourselves?

will the dead really walk on the final few days running up to judgment? (muahahaha go down fightin’ that my style  )

will we survive until the sun explodes? :help:

will we survive still longer on a spaceship? :cool_laugh:

aliens…invaders/diseases/accidentl extermination of earth (like a disease that theyre immune to…but makes us melt…or just some dumbass who leaned on the red button

the questions are endless…now im gonna go collapse on my bed and toss and turn all night while downing painkillers and moaning like the living dead watching big brother. (please dont grap sharp things and mob outside my house all you BB lovers)
PEACE OUT Y’ALL :thud:
p.s sorry if this is in the wrong forum…im not sure atm as i cant think straight…like i do anyway so thats no excuse…whatever just move teh thread if ye mods be cheesed yaaaargh pirates

i think those painkillers have more that just parecetemetemolol in 'em :bored:

I think, when 2012 rolls around, we shall wake up.

2012…hmm I think it might be 2112? That gives us a little more time.

Waking up sounds like a good idea - I like that thought better than destroying ourselves

I think the humans will have killed each other long before the sun explode

Perhaps we’ll evolve into a new life form.

Hey, what about this one!

Nothing happens, life continues as it is.

Hm, meteors could be a good candidate. It would depend on the size, and on what people would do.
By the time the Sun explodes, who knows what will have happened. It’s a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.
Killing each other? One faction, or a part of it, would survive anway, unless it’s a mass-suicide. Any form of war is kind of unlikely, as people would hide and think of anything before getting killed. Unless it’s a war that ends up destroying the planet. And you need one helluva weapon to do that.
2012? If something will happen, I hope people won’t have to “wake up” the hard way.

EDIT: Running out of resources may be an option too…

I think humankind will give an end to itself before the World ends.

"Unless it’s a war that ends up destroying the planet. And you need one helluva weapon to do that. "
Last year my history teacher said there are enough nukes in the world right now to ruin the world over 20 times (or something like that). Anyway, the specifics aren’t important… the point is that its very possible.

eh steve its more like 2000 times.
ive heard that you could fuck upp civilisation with just about 10 nukes if you just aim them att some special places but to end the human race you would need enough to fuck upp the echosystem. But like the U.S had 10,600 in 2002 and its about the same nuber now. Only in america. And i have no nubers on how manny russia and china have but there is seriously manny considdering that its only 243 nations in the world that is abut 40 nukes per country

Pretty annoying for Monaco. :ebil:

I think morons like Bush will threaten powerful countries for having “nukes”, then threaten with nukes themselves. War rises. The moron (like Bush) uses a nuke, the country nukes back, it becomes a nuclear bomb war.

You all know what happens when a Nuke War starts… Humanity is wiped out in less than a week.

If some natural or man made disaster were to happen I think there will still be survivors. Our ancestors have lived through many catastrophic events including several ice ages, floods, earth quakes and volcanic eruptions. We certainly have far more tools for surviving such an event than our ancestors did. If they lived through it, I am sure we will as well. Life will be different, but it will continue.

It is simple. Just like Wolf said, we will wake up… Meditate on this!

I think many possible things could happen in the future.

from what some companies have already started to do is try to make money out of space tourism, already there are two companies in the uk who have already started to do this in the near future. from this kind of venture, when reasonable space travel within our soloar system could mean people could buy space vechicles and this could protect you from possible extinction or extermination.
also if it were possible make a livable spot on a passing asteriod or comet could get you out of here to a neighbouring galaxy.

also one of my friends has bought 14 hectares of land in the rockies in the usa and his plan is to grow fields of various plants, he has a huge dome tent and solar power, plus a satelite connection for te internet. I intend to go there and help him out in the future, when I get things sorted here.

But for the mean time unless the usa(meaning bush) or some terroist organisation decides to do something drastic such as 9/11 then I can’t for see anything to be done.

I have read about what is meant to happen on 2012 and it has been suggested the area of the world something major is meant to happen is Egypt, but who knows, I am not entirely bothered but I have it in mind for the future. First and foremost I try to enjoy myself and help other people out. (if they want it, that is)

If we survive until the sun burns out I think we will have already left the solar system. I dont think we will though, just because its such a long time.

I think the world as we know it will probably end soon because resources will run out, global warming etc… but if we manage to adapt to all that then maybe we will learn from it and last longer. But then maybe we’ll destroy ourselves by nuking each other, who knows?

THIS is whats going to happen

You either have to:

  • Launch a lot of them at once
  • Launch a few of them for some time

Yeah, it’s possible. But both options are real stupid though, people would realize their danger before going all the way. In order for those two things to happen people have to be either a) idiots, or b) suicides.

Im starting to get a little scared about this, because its all becoming to real. Things like 9/11, wars, weather, global warming, earthquakes. Did you know that Katrina means cleansing? That kind of freaked me out. When I was younger I thought it would be so cool to witness the end of the world, or the secound coming of Christ, but now that we are fixing to be in the middle of it, and the %$#@ is fixing to hit the fan, I would rather not witness it. I feel like my (our) dreams are preparing us for this. If it does happen on 2012 or when ever… Something is definatley happaning. Whats going to happen next year when the hurricane season rolls around againe. I hope 2005 was just a one time thing, but with the way weather is now I dont know. Alot of areas this winter are expirancing well above avrage tempatures. Its been in the 70s, and near 80 for the past month where I live. Global warming seems very real. Im just waiting for the cosmic love humanity is supose to go through before we all lift off into the heavens.
Yes Im very scared, but one thing that makes me feel better is, that Im not alone. Were all in this togeather.
Youll never walk alone…Fearless

Hey nightshade, thanks for that link that was funny as hell, I needed that laugh LOL!!

Well I do not share the same religious beliefs as you but keep in mind that every generation has it’s dooms day predictions yet we are all still here. I agree that recent events are very troubling. What ever happens we will cope with it as our ability to adapt is one of our greatest strengths. I do believe in climate change. It has happened before so it stands to reason that it will happen again. However, even the most die hard global warming believers say they can not predict what/when it will happen. It could be tomorrow or 1,000 years from tomorrow.

Wow 70 degrees where you are. I am Jealous. Well I live in NY and January is our coldest month of the year. Even here (while it is still cold) it has been a lot warmer than the norm. Tomorrow is expected to be almost 40 degrees. So far, we only had 2 snow storms (knock on wood)one only dropped 3" and the second was about 6"- 8". This time last year we were measuring snowfall amounts in feet.
