Yes.
How far are you?
Haven’t started yet.
Do you like it so far?
Refer to question above.
it was sold out when i went to get it yesterday. Dang. Now i have to wait until i can find it somewhere else. I was to lazy to preregister it. Ah well, it will come to me
We got there in the morning and got the first one.
We were in Melbourne and we walked past Angus and Robertson and Mum asked me if I wanted to get it, and there was no que and they had planty of copies, best thing is, I got the adult cover so when I take off the dust cover it just looks like some bring old 601 page book.
I’m now up to pg 307.
Yep, got it yesterday
Love it so far
Because of having to work yesterday I’m only on pg 164
Have you got it? Yes! Bought it yesterday afternoon and read it today!
How far are you? Finished! (I read very quickly.)
Do you like it so far? Love it! Since nobody else has finished it yet, I won’t give away the ending, but it’s my second favourite of the whole series after Goblet of Fire. Fantastic!
Ahhh! Wich side is Snape on???
As if I’d tell and give it away! But HINT: It’s very important to the storyline!
Acording to Pope Benidict Harry Potter is evil. I think Pope Benidict is evil.
I agree. I fail to understand how anyone could possibly see a fictional (and not only that, but obviously fantastical and untrue) piece of storytelling as a threat to Christianity. The Bible has tons of stories of magic-like happenings and miracles anyway, and is not so different in that respect!
I think the Pope is taking a rollickingly good kids’ book a little too seriously…
I bought it last night… I’m on page 57 am not particularly crazy about harry potter but I always end up getting them anyways. so far it’s pretty good.
To stay on-topic: I don`t have the book YET. I need money.
OMG Gaara! I’m gonna print that out and give it to my mother!
Anamcara, i would say Snape is on the good side, he just has this dark aura around him.
Yay, finished it.
That main thing that really stands out to me is… that Rowling has finally succeeded in making her characters act like teenagers (unlike that pitiful attempt last book).
The first two chapters were weak (though the second chapter is actually quite important to the storyline - it’s a hint Rowling seems to have put in. And that hint isn’t spelled out for you so you’ll have to figure it out for yourselves).
My Uncle (well… my great uncle, my mom’s uncle) is out getting a copy for himself and a copy for me… I’ll be reading it later today when he gets back.
Ahhhh! All these people here actually expect me to stop reading and work! Can you believe that? D*mn them!
Ok Pope Bendict IVX is not evil and neithier is Harry Potter, the Pope says that the book can harm the development of the faith, personally I think it’s a load of rubbish and I continue to read Harry Potter and play Dungeons & Dragons, allthough I have to hide the latter from my Oma & Opa as they take the popes word as law.
On the subect of Harry Potter I’m up to page 450 and I still think it’s really good and I have no clue what will happen in the end. Although I think it’s pretty obvious who the half-blood prince is, Harry should have figured it out when he checked the date of the book. (I don’t think that gave anything away, did it?)
