Harry Potter: The Half-Blood Prince

LMAO :cool_laugh: :cool_laugh:
suddenly the news reports a mass suicide or a mob growing outside the mean bas**rds door

I finally finished it!

Who could resist a book with zombies?! That rocked!!! :cool_laugh:

don’t use color=white for spoilers

rather use (dark) and (light)

We all finished book 6 now. Lets try and figure out what is going to happen in book 7. This could be fun.

no we havent  Don’t talk about contents of book 6 unless it is clearly marked “spoiler” and you have ‘hidden’ the text so you need to highlight it to read it.

How about a second thread purely for those who have finished it, that way no one accidentally quotes a spoiler?

Also if anyone gets spoiled is it’s in a sepurate thread, it’s their own bloody fault

yes, we could do that
mark “spoiler, dont’ read etc” in the topic please

Yeah, I got it at the day after the premiere, the bookstore was quite empty really.

I read it through in a day. It’s the best book of them all, and that’s saying alot.

J K Rowling knows how to tell a story. This septology will be a classic, mark my words.

I hate the spoiler-assholes out there. I got spoiled. :cool_laugh:

I know Oberon / other catholics are going to kill me after i say this and Oberon already has anticipated wat im going to say  But it must be said!

 1. The pope is not nessecarily evil, that is simply a conflict of human morals, however! The only goblins that I know that dont wreak havoc are those locked securly away in Gringott’s
 2. Not much can harm the “development” of the Catholic Church seeing as it’s been the same for about 500 years (correct me if im wrong) and if the church is developing they’re just going to be converting the populace, proclaiming crusades (against me  ) and speaking the language of the dead!
 3. The Pope has a funny hat!

Although I enjoyed the HBP, I don’t believe the ending was sufficiently encouraging enough for me to read the last book.

I mean, it just feels like I allready know how everything is going to play out.

You’ve been through 6 books already, why not just stick it out for the last one?

Well people I talk to on a HP board feel that book 6 was kind of a part 1 of 2.

Although it was a good book, though not my favorite, it felt kind of rushed and in some ways felt repetative like every other chapter was about Harry thinking Draco and Snape was upto something.

There was too much focus on that one thing and very little character development and it felt rushed to me. With Book7 being less pages than OotP I worry that may feel just as rushed.

When you look at what has to be in there, I don’t feel a good story can be told. First there is Hogwarts stuff

Either way, I am looking forward to book 7.

got it finished it , meh it was ok, cudda been better at the end with big D’s death

[q edit:]spoiler  copy/paste/quote to read.[/q edit]
