Just like the title says, I was wondering if anyone has found out about any new lucid dreaming techniques. I am curious to know. Please tell me also if you have created your own!
I have only had one lucid dream, just two nights ago and I was talking about the topic with my dad right before I went to bed. I guess this is kind of like WRILD (Writing Induced) or MILD (Mnemonic Induction) but does this specifically have a name?
Basically, my questions are:
Do you guys know of any new lucid dreaming techniques?
Has anyone created a new lucid dreaming technique?
Is there a named technique that involves having an active (on both sides) conversation about lucid dreaming with someone before you go to sleep?
Interesting question! Looking forward to what people will respond. I don’t personally know of this..
Lately I did try myself to induce lucid dreams by being on this forum every night right before sleeping. Sometimes I just read, but other times I interact so that’s kinda like a conversation. Sadly, no improved results (still at 1 short LD per week on average, which I also had when I just tried reading a book about lucid dreaming before sleeping). Perhaps screen time is not a great way to go. I tried both of those methods for a few months. Now trying new things again in the hopes of finding something more effective.
Last week I tried pulling an oracle card from a deck about lucid dreaming. And reading from the booklet the explanation about that card. I then lucid dreamed for 3 nights out of the 5 nights I tried. Even one of them was one of my longest lucid dreams ever. Not sure though if I’ll keep getting such good results, and i just need a bit more discipline for it than for some forum reading on my phone.
Would love to hear your results if you give your conversation method a longer try!
Through the forum I by the way found out about VILD and SSILD. They’re not new, but they are less known and they were new to me. Did you know them? Not to hijack your topic, but would love it if others also share less known induction techniques that might be new to some of us.
