Hello, question.

So I’ve lucid dreamt like once. It was a few months ago, and I woke up, it was such a good dream that I kept thinking about it in my own way, consiously, and awake. After awhile I fell back asleep, but was still in control of the dream. It was awesome :smiley:

But now I found LD’ing out today on a dream dictionary website because I had a nightmare. Now I want to LD, badly. Ive made a habit of checking the time twice often, already. Hahah. I’m hoping to do it subconiously in a dream soon. Oh, I only dream like once a week, but when I do, I remember every single one, and I have like 4-5 dreams when I do dream. I just figured out that I should record them, but when I used to dream, I would enjoy telling all my friends about it, because I loved bringing up the subject and repeating my memory of it.

Alright, so my question is, will me dreaming only once a week (normally) affect my achieving of lucidity? Or can I change how often I dream?

Actually, everyone dreams, every night. It seems you are simply not remembering them, and that will hold you back if you want to become lucid.

You will need to start remembering your dreams if you want to become lucid, I suggest you start keeping a dream journal. Your dreams will become more vivid, and your dream recall will improve.

You can move on from there.

Okay, I just made the journal today. Knowing I want to remember, will help remember, right? I wrote in it my dream from last night, every detail.

I mean, It might help, subconsciously.
