Help with getting past SP?

I have been trying to WILD for the past few(4) nights. I lay on my back for a while[/center] with my arms by my side and I concentrate on my breathing. Breath-in/out, one. Breath-in/out, two. and so on. My arms begin to feel numb and heavy, then my whole body just seems to follow.

My issue is, after I enter SP I don't really know where to go from there. How do I create/visualize the dream scene. Then actually "enter" the dream, to preform an RC(the preferred one being, plugging my nose and trying to breathe also trying to push my thumb through the palm of my hand) and stabilize it. I'm just not able to to get to that point.

Please help,

Do you notice any random thoughts, images or sounds forming in your head while you try to fall asleep? For me, those are the gateway into the actual dream. The trick is to focus on the forming scenes with enough consciousness that you stay lucid, but not so much that you wake up.

Are you able to physically move your body in this state? If you can, it isn’t SP.

How sleepy are you? For me, it is a lot easier to WILD in the morning or in a nap. I am so sleepy that the random hallucinations are more noticeable than my real body.

  1. I don’t really get images, just swirling colors or nothing at all.
  2. No i’m not able to physically move my body
  3. To answer the “how sleepy am I” question I pair the WILD with WBTB. I normally go to bed at about 10 or 10:30 and set an alarm for 4/4:30. I don’t tend nap during the day or at all for that matter.
