Last night I had a dream in which I pretty much turned lucid, but for some reason I didn’t understand the possibilities it would give me.
I dreamed that I was sitting in front of my computer, and suddenly it showed weird text on a black screen and then it started to smoke, and I panicked for a moment and worried that it would crash for good — until I suddenly told myself “hey wait, this is just a fantasy computer, so it’s alright; my real computer in the real world is still safe”.
That’s pretty much what I was thinking to myself, and I’m sure you can all agree on that if this wasn’t lucidity then it was definitely insanely close.
I obviously realized that I wasn’t in “the real world” and that I had a “real” life somewhere else - but I didn’t understand what this meant, and then the dream changed into something else.
Have you ever experienced this kind of lucidity?
Also, why does this happen?
Only A LOT I guess it’s just something in between very low lucidity and FLD. They can be a bit annoying, specially when you wake up and realize what happened, but they’re pretty close to a LD, since it is at least SOME form of awareness.
Yeah, this happens to me a LOT. I seem to get 1 LD for every 10 of these, keep at it! Once I had a dream that I was in a university tutorial discussing with 10 or so other students and a tutor about how to have LDs… And I woke up wanting to bang my head off a wall, but it came at a time when my lucidity was improving, so I guess I can’t knock it
The other night I took a test in a dream where I had to answer what a dream was. Unfortunatelly I’m used to not getting lucid in situations like this now a days!
