ineplicable reality shifts

has something ever dramatically changed in your world ?

i remember reading someone talk about a tractor that changed locations once :

when 13th step , a perfect circle came out
it was purple and orange,
and i read about discussions that these colors when combined caused a feeling of illness,

so, many years later, i was browsing through my cd collection, and here the very same cd is, and its green and yellowish/orange
and i did a double-take
and i googled all the phrases i could think of to find these discussions i had read about it clearly being purple and orange, and lo found none.

now there are many angles to explain this, rational and etc, but has this ever happened to you ?

In a way this has happened to me, though there are probably a dozen ways to explain it. When I was between the ages of 5 and 8 or so, I bought who knows how many copies of the game Oregon Trail. Within a month of buying each of them, they completely disappeared. Every single one. (at least five of them).

I get the feeling that this has happened to me more in the way you’re thinking (something completely changing for all of reality, rather than something just disappearing) but I can’t for the life of me remember it…

yes ,

something changing for all of reality
it is perplexing
sometimes these things could be dreams, but this so wasn’t ,
it is only relevant now as entertainment, the change long gone!

it were as if they didn’t like the color scheme and reality shifted it all at once, and i remembered !

This has happened to me before.
But it’s probably just my memory a tad off, after all those years.

This is one of the earliest things I remember, but there is earlier thoughts. I was watching my dad fight the Lava Piranha on Paper Mario for the N64. I was walking around, just pacing the tile area. I was then called over to my mom. She changed my diaper.
Then, my mom gave me medicine for my cough.

Now, the reality shift? The music was very sinister sounding. This was not something my mind could have made up, and I know this was not a dream! It’s hard to explain. Years later, I decided to play the game myself. (It’s a good game. ) I fought the boss that had revolutionized my life. WHAT?! The music was different! It was still sinister, but it was lacking a certain instrument. Hmmm…

First of all, graech- you never thought someone stole them?
Someone could just steal it or put it away.

@Mew151- I maybe know the reason…Well, I don’t know how to put this, but I’ll try…
In many games, the music depends on the time…Like, after 2 minutes, the guitar plays, then, after 4 minutes, the sound changes, and after 5 minutes it becomes sinister, and all that…I’m saying that maybe you met the boss sooner than your dad did, or maybe somewhat later.

Do you get the point?

No I listened the whole track for it, and was surprised never to hear the part.

And besides, it was a N64 game.

those things happen all the time…just most of the people don’t pay any attention to it. and when you do pay attention you see them more.
