Is the Cheese Myth True?

probally been posted before, but i wondered if eating cheese before you go to bed helps you dream more vividly. In this case it would also aid LDs presumably. Itried eating cheese before bedtime for a week, then not doing for a week, then doing again for a week, and definately did produce more vivid normal dreams (well technically i suppose better remembered not more vivid). Would this help LDing at all? and was it just a placebo affect or does it really help?
