Whats up everyone, whenever i perform a WILD , I ly there still , and after awhile, ill see like patches of color, like a blue, or green, orange. is this HI? i’ve only performed a WILD one other time, and i just felt like a slight vibration tingle up my body, what that the SP? just tryin to get down this technique, any advice appriciated, im an open book , fill the pages!
first of all, welcome!
And, yes, I beleive that can be called HI. HI can be anything from those colors to very detailed images.
The vibrations you got tell you you’re getting close to SP, but that’s not SP itself. When you hit SP you’ll know it, because you just can’t move at all.
WILD is a difficult technique to start with. Of course that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try it. Just keep in mind that trying to WILD as soon as you go to bed is much more difficult. You should get about 5 or 6 hours of sleep first, then you’ll enter REM sleep much quicker…
i just wanted to know the best way to Perform a Wake back to Bed and a WILD combo? how long should i sleep for best results? How long should i stay awake? any tips on WILDing? thanks!
well… I’ve heard that WILD is a lot easier after a WBTB… but i haven’t tried it, and I did a WBTB this morning without WILD or MILD and it worked miraculously. In my oppinion… WILD is a waste of time. But i would suggest waking up about 6 hours after falling asleep, staying awake for half an hour or so, and then trying to WILD.
sweet, im gonna get to it right now, thanks for responding, more info would be appriciated! thanks again dood. peace
when im trying WBTB i usually will put a Vitamin Water: Focus at my bedside so in the morning i wake up (usually sleep for about 5 hours then get awoken by an alarm),and ill sit and drink the bottle of it while reading on the forums until its finished. while i fall back asleep i focus on my breathing and breathe slowly. i always pay full attention to what im seeing behind my eyelids.
ive done this technique 3 times and ive been succesful with a lucid dream 2 times.
sounds good, i tried again last night, but had no success, i didn’t stay up really after i woke up after six hours, i guess i gotta get up for a lil bit
So you do WBTB without WILD or MILD? Do you just wake up, think about lucid dreaming for a while, then let yourself go back to sleep without the motivation?
WBTB combined with another technique is really good. Just WBTB by itself may lead to a LD, but combine it with MILD or WILD to get greater results!
What I usually do is sleep for about 5:30 hours, et up and stay up for 30 minutes. Then I go back to bed do MILD for a few minutes and finish it trying to WILD.
Sorry. I’ve just felt an irresistable desire to replace the word ‘Love’ with ‘HI’ in the Whitesnake song ‘Is This Love?’
“Is this HI, that I’m feeling
Is this the HI, that I’ve been searching for
Is this HI, or am I dreaming
This must be HI, 'cuase it’s really got a hold on me, a hold on me
John Sykes guitar solo with repeated major third to perfect fourth bend, like a wide vibrato - amazing”
Sorry about that. I’ve a terrible sense of humour. I think those colours might just be ‘white noise’ from your retinas. In my experience early HI is more like the feeling that you have just seen something, rather than actually seeing it, and is usually something vague but not abstract, though ofcourse it’s going to be different for everyone.
