LAZY with DJ

Hello, i was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me to make it easier and more fun to write down my DJ. Even when im not trying my dream recall is FANTASTIC and i am always flooded with dreams in the morning- its just they never make it to the paper, nor the computer. any ideass?

Try it with a voice recorder, then you just need to talk to record your dreams.

I never have a problem finding motivation to write in my dream journal as if I don’t usually my dream recall would start to deteriorate.

What I often do is just keep short keywords that can remind me of each dream.

It makes it much easier to write.

Really, the only thing I CAN do when I keep my DJ is have keywords and phrases. If you saw my DJ on here you’d know 1800 word dreams would take forever to write by hand. (They already take forever to type.) However, I’m also an on and off person when it comes to my DJ because of the time it takes. But when I don’t keep it, things don’t go quite as well. I remember a lot less. But when I do keep it, I remember a LOT, so it can get a bit discouraging with all that I have to write. Then again, I gotta have it if I want my LDs. >.>

I usually make short notes or only keywords from important parts of the dreams.

when i get lazy with it I just jot down notes. Usually I get carried away though.

Don’t put too much pressure on yourself.
It’s not super-important to write down your dreams every morning, just try to do it as often as possible.

As people have already mentioned, a voice recorder can be very handy.
You don’t even need to write by hand or anything if you are a slow writer (like me ), instead what I have started doing is that I transcribe my voice recordings on a computer and then print the text.
Some people think that it’s a hassle to transcribe your voice recordings, but hey, this does allow you to review your dreams a lot and possibly discover new details everytime you listen to them.
