by the way, i also send a link to a feedback form to everyone who participated, i’d appreciated if you fill it in - so I can use that also for future challenges.

Ok, then maybe in the future a gold award can be given to the top 2 finishers, a silver award to the next 2 finishers, and a bronze to the next 2 finishers, to allow more people to get an award, which will motivate more people to participate.

currently we only have one winner award. No gold/silver/bronze exist at all. (except on the leaderboard).

I have already given my point of view on this - (i think having one winner award is part of the motivation) so I’m curious what others think. (as participant in a LC or as someone who considers joining)

I’m also one of those who want my points to only be affected by my own results.

I wouldn’t be opposed to different awards than the winner one, as long as it is announced at the beginning of the challenge, before any scoring. Changing rules in the middle of a contest is usually not very motivating. Maybe we could give a special award if somebody had their first LD during the challenge, or their longest LD ever?
