I normally only sleep for 6 hours/day and it doesn’t seem to be enough to have LDs. Last week I was tired and slept for 8 hours and had my first two lucid dreams.
But is there a technique that can be used with 6 hours of sleep?

6 hours a day of sleep isn’t healthy, you probably were too tired to have LDs.
Actually I sleep 5,5-6,5 hours a day and wake up quite refreshed. Have been doing so for about a month and if 6 hours of sleep would be unhealthy that would make for some heck of a sleep deprivation…

1.go to sleep only when you’re tired(with a deadline)
2.wake up at fixed time
Also, polyphasic sleepers only sleep 2,5 hours a day.[/size]
Polyphasic/uberman sleep is unhealthy. Yes, you can do it for a while, maybe 4~5 months. But it will start taking effect on your body because you do not have, or have a decreased ammount of, deep sleep.
Well REM is the most important phase of the sleep.
But in any case early rising (5-6,5 hours) of sleep is not unhealthy.
Back to the topic…is it at least possible to have a LD in the period of 4-6 hours of sleep?
umm REM and delta sleep a equally important …
to your question … i think yes
Okay this is going completely off-topic, so I’ll just leave my last post here.

I haven’t tried polyphasic sleep yet, especially not for 7 months like the author of the quote, but I’m absolutely sure that delta sleep is not as important anymore when the body’s adapted to polyphasic sleep cycle.
