I’m not a very experianced lucid dreamer, I have only become lucid about 6 other times. But I had an idea. Could you call your real life friends in your dream, to their dream? That is if your lucid? I mean it would be hard because you would have to perform a mind tapping in the real world, while dialing your friends number in the dream world.

Or could you visit your friends dream and make them become lucid, have some fun in the dream world.

I got this idea from a lucid dream I had last night. That I just woke up from. All of my friends and I we’re hanging out in our school, as if we were about to go to class. And since I was lucid it was like having a real conversation with them. SO then I wodnered, “is that really them? Are our dreams somehow connected? Could we relaly be accidently using telepathy in our earth bodies to connect to each other through our dreams?”

So yea, I was just wondering. Dream telepathy would be kind of cool. Try it with your friend or something. Im going to try it tonight with my friend, she’s a pro at lucid dreaming.

This is a very popular concept called shared dreaming. You can read more about this subject one of the other boards. I don’t believe in it.

Something about this idea is intriguing to me. I think it would be interesting to just call a random number in a lucid dream, and ask the receiver questions, I bet you could get some interesting stuff.

I don’t believe in shared dreaming while awake, but in lucid dreams I have been convinced I was doing it. I don’t really think that a phone would change much. But It could be quite fun. I can imagine calling my friend and hearing his dream, he has violent dreams. I picked up the phone one time and it was this demonic voice mumbling incomprehesible words. Like in David Lynch’s rabbits.

i would really love to have a SD but i find it really hard to belive it to be true unless you both are like amazingly good at telepathy

Oh. My friend and I can both do telepathy fairly well, so it might work…

Telepathy is just as real as telekinese or shooting laser from your eyes ^^

I think there should be done a high tech, proper and professional experiment on shared dreaming :wink:

Too, late, we already tried it. It sorta worked, we remembered each others dreams, but we couldn’t really look at each other in the LD. Any reason for this? We could talk, fly, and speak to DC, but we just couldn’t see each other.

And telekinesis is real. We saw some of the advanced students in the psi club at school use it. (nothing major, just a psi wheel under a jar or a coin moving up the edge of a jar.)
