i have never experienced in a lucid dream. but why do you think that it would not be possible? just the fact that concoius thought HAS to happen in real time? but its really concious thought inside of a dream world, and time can be slowed down in the dream world.
thats how i look at it anyway.
its fair enough to believe what you want to believe, but i honestly think there will never be a scientific explanation for such things. perhaps tryin to experience it for yourself the next time you are lucid might be a better idea instead of waiting for scientific proof that IMO will never exist.
So in summary try OBE and you will see thats not some hallucination. Thats like saying dream are hallucination… Thats not the same thing.
If you trust more scientific proof thats your problem but scientific doesnt even know more than you and me maybe a lot less. So I trust more a random experimented guy that know a lot on dream. There no point of lying.
I have had loads of experiences that is exactly the same as what people call a obe “etheric projection” but i have come to the conclusion that this was nothing more than a vivid dream with my mind being conscious.
The main reason for peope to think they had a OBE seems to be because it seemed to vivid to be a dream and because they went into a OBE without losing consciousness in first place. I say that these people have never experienced a high level WILD. A lucid dream can in some ways seem more vivid than waking reality. Like senses being sharper, vision being clearer and so on…
I experienced once to project myself in a Lucid Dream and I know the difference. A real OBE is not that. Just for the point of view we know it. Dream are like in normal life or sometine like in a movie but OBE have a spheric strange vision.
That depends on who you ask… Some people claim you have a normal vision, other claim it is more blurry than waking life, some claim it is more vivid/sharp than waking life and some claim they even have 360 degree vision.
I myself highly suspect that it depends on what you expect. People have been able to change the way their vision work in lucid dreams, so that is not really any proof.
Why not try this experiment?? Tape a random card to your window without looking and then project to the other side of the window and memorize what card it was. If the results are right way more often than pure random, then you might atleast disprove/prove it for yourself.
Though i guess alot of believers would just assume it was taking place in a different dimension or something if this test failed…
