If you are interested in participating in a Lucid Challenge, please sign up here!
just announce here that you want to join and your name is added to the list.
In order to keep sign ups and actual running challenges separate, this will be the only place to sign up, and kept updated with info on new challenges.
please mention your personal goal you have for this challenge. this can be anything like, duration of your LD, vividness, maybe something entirely different. It will earn you bonus points.
I’ll add it to your name in the list.
preparations for the challenge are under way.
please answer the new poll (how many challenges) in the first post of this topic so i have an idea on how long this is gonna run (and how many challenges i have to prepare xD)
Improved recall (lately my lucids are longer and I tend to forget their beggining)
Frequency of LDs, goal is nightly, now it fluctuates between dry spells where I don’t have a lucid for like 10 days, and weeks like the last one where I had 5 lucids in 7 days.
Dream control - been improving can fly, phase through walls, summon characters etc. but inconsistent, also dreams tend to crumble into a FA, which I sometimes catch, sometimes don’t. End goal is managing PRs without much difficulty.
I guess these are my personal LDing goals in general at this point, not specifically for this challenge. Since it’s my first time, I’ll keep it simple: I’d like to complete each challenge. Advanced goal: Do each task twice, as in, in two lucids.
This is an imaginary place I have often visualized (tried to VILD for months) but never reached it. I would love it as a “lucid dreaming home base”. Lately I have thought of maybe being able to get there if I step through a portal. I have never tried a portal before, just read from others its helpful to go somewhere. I have pretty short ld’s, not always clear enough to even remember to try to work on a goal. So I have no idea how feasible this is, but hey, that’s the challenge right!
Personal goals are to 1. Increase the duration of lucid drrams and 2. Do something I haven’t done before in a dream. Stretch goals are for me to stay in a dream when losing lucidity by engaging with the dream, and to re-try the “spin in place like a top” again to see what happens this time.
I’m trying to create a persistent dream world, and so far I’ve only imagined the place that is my starting point. My goal is to either have a dream there or transport myself there while lucid.
I swear this is a goal I already had and I’m not trying to copy @Night-Owl XD
