Lucid Dreaming Software for Android

Hello @ all,

I’ve been browsing the url removed for Lucid Dreaming applications but did not really find any. Now - since I’ve been playing around with the android SDK a bit I thought about making one myself - hence I wanted to ask, which kind of stuff you’d like to see in a LD application. One idea I had (but I don’t know in how far people might like it): Remind other people across the globe of performing reality checks (via wireless connection, maybe a bit like “spin the bottle”), exchange LD snippets and rate them or have a public message board where people exchange information about LD (more in a chat-like fashion) - what do u think? Mind you - it’s all gonna take place on a phone, so there are certain limitations, although Android does have a lot to offer . Applications have access to google maps, camera, compass and more stuff, despite the sdk.

Oh btw - for those who don’t know: Android is an operating system for mobile phones, written by Google - so far there are few mobile phones on the market (I got myself a Galaxy).

Cheers,

Hey.

I would really love to have a good and programmed alarm that rings during the sleep stages so you can wake up for lucid dreams etc. I know there are other programs like Lucid Weaver but thats not that good imo. So if there was one with a good alarm tone which is pretty universal and a perfectly laid out sleep cycle alarms, that would be really great.

@Mahdiii: How about defining your own alarm-cycles? Because afaik not every cycle fits everyone . So you could adjust the settings (and maybe export them to .xml or whatever) with time. How about defining ur own alarm tone? I could offer a few but I just remember how horrid some alarms are ^^ .

Okay - more suggestions welcome  !

has anyone found any good apps yet? I’m particularly looking for a reality checker, so some kind of random alarm.

Hello - it’s me, the thread originator  . I am currently working on such an Application for Android. So far I am almost done implementing a reality check reminder, there you can define a start and an end time as well as an intervall.

Example: the reminder starts at 8am, ends at 7pm and the alarm is played every hour.

But randomizing it, might be a fun option as well  . If anyone has more suggestions please do let me know  !
