Vitamin b6. Bananas!

I’ve also read that bananas help you lucid dream. Funny thing, hm? Y’know you can live from eating only bananas all your life? I’ve seen this on National Geographic the other day, and it’s supposed to be the only meal that can do this.

The combination of melatonin, vitamin B-6 and valerian seems to do wonders for some people.

Melatonin is a hormone found in the human body, however when you take extra (3mg is a good dose) you feel a very natural, calming, peaceful sleepiness coming on. Not only does it create vivid/lucid dreams, it’s a fantastic sleep aid. Watch out tho, if taken daily it seems to lose it s effects rather quickly.

B-6 increases your body’s sensory perception, not only in consciousness but while dreaming. It has a long history of being taken to increase dream recall and vividness.

Valerian is another sleep aid, but instead is an herb. Like the others, people report wild dreams while taking valerian. When I take it, though, I sometimes get this drowsy feeling in the morning.

Another herb that is less popular is Calea Zacatechici, also known as the “dream herb”. It is sometimes called the leaf of god. Calea has a great reputation for dramatically increasing your chance to become lucid. It has been used in Africa for centuries in ceremonies and stuff.

You can find the B6, melatonin and valerian in a vitamin store, or if they don’t have it check online. Calea you can buy very cheap online at one of my favorite websites, www.bouncingb.com.
