McDonalds

McDonalds has the only food that makes me feel like a fatass when I eat it.

I don’t like McDonalds as much as I used to. Probably because of the movie Super Size Me. Still love Wendy’s though. (Although they’re probably not much better.)
Hey, at least I’m not one of those people who go to restaurants all the time. For me it’s rare. I remember when the teacher asked us who went to restaurants more than once a week in class. Almost everyone raised their hands. Unbelievable.

I like McDonald’s, actually.

I prefer A&W’s. It is the most expensive of the fast food joints, but they also do have the best product, and it shows. I only eat there about three times a year anyways.

Wow, I watched that documentary in an Organization and Leadership class last year… it’s a hard documentary to forget. I agree with Petter - it’s sickening, and very angering.

I can’t believe what some people would do for money… they choose money over humanity to such an extent that they stop being people and start being monsters.

Heh, back to the MacDonald’s thing… to be honest, I quite like the way their food tastes, and I suspect that the reason is that they have so much fat in it. We’re biologically programmed to like foods rich in fat, because back then more fat meant a bigger chance for survival. The fatter you were, the longer you could go without starving to death (or am I completely wrong about this?).
However, there’s more to us than just instincts and primitive urges. We can stop ourselves and control ourselves, so I avoid eating at MacDonalds as much as I can (I eat MacDonald’s maybe twice a year, if even that). They should take responsibility for what’s in their food - unfortunately, they don’t. No one knows where their ingredients come from, no one knows what’s in that meat (I’m especially suspicious of the meat).

And their food is waaay overpriced. Really, a kebab here (that has at least some greens and is made in front of you, so you can more or less see what’s in it) costs 25-30 crowns. A MacDonald’s meal costs like 55 crowns. I don’t mind paying more for GOOD food, but I’m not paying more for bad food.

I don’t hold a grudge against anyone eating in MacDonalds though, I mean, it’s their life. It’s like holding a grudge against smokers or holding a grudge against people who do extreme sports and hurt themselves. As long as they’re not hurting anyone else, the choice is theirs to make. If they enjoy eating in MacDonald’s, let them enjoy it.

they should at least say what’s vegetarian - their bloody milkshakes aren’t even vegetarian for christs’ sake!

And naturally those people make good profits and well, good profit is good in those companies isn’t it?

I’m growing sick of the way we (our culture) looks upon owning land and to some degree, things and money

Well, we just gotta disagree there. I think it tastes bad. In think it is too much fats again. And the atmosphere in there doesn’t make it better. I believe quite some people could benefit from asking themselfs if the “food” they eat really tastes good.

Thats right. But i DO have a grunge against mcdonalds, I simply hate it.

Easy to remember, nothing is vegatarian. And even if something is, think about cruelty to animals, cut down rainforests, etc.

Actually, the people in Mcdonalds use the horrible colour combinations so as to make the people eating inside of the place get out faster. A bold, strong red usually does that to people.

Especially when the colors start to fade.,.,.

Double cheeseburger with fries… I like it…

i love mcdonalds food lol but 4 out of 5 times they mess it up lol… plus its so bad for you… then again almost all restaurants are… well thats my opinion! lol

Maybe that’s why, the last time I was in the MacDonals, my friend wanted to go away again while I wasn’t even finished. (It was nothing rude or something, I was just being slow and she didn’t notice I wasn’t finished with my milkshake)

I personally don’t really like MacDonalds that much. Except for a few weeks ago I haven’t been there for quite some time. And actually I didn’t want to go to the Mac at that time, but well the majority decided we would go there and I was like hmm okay then, if you all want this I suppose I can eat there.

I didn’t know things like milkshakes weren’t vegetarian  I hope the vegetarian burger is really vegetarian then.

McDonalds? D: Well, it is the pinnacle of a cruel industry wedging its way into Pop Culture, marketing crappy “toys” to innocent little tykes so they will eat their trashy food, messing with animal rights, and assisting some Americans in eating themselves to death. Sounds like a Corporate success story. I tell you…it only proves that people are only worried about presentation and not content. Cue Ronald McDonald trying to turn me into a Big Mac.

i dunno, i like target. Better than walmart becasue of the red color… Also, target is clearner

I love mcdonalds. The food tastes great, and it’s alot less expensive (and nicer tasting) than going into any other restaurant and having to sit and wait an hour for some food.

I don’t understand why everyone has such a problem with it.

And then theres the people who sue them for selling unhealthy food, and making them fat, and such:

It’s fairly obvious that eating greasy burgers and fries everyday isn’t going to make you healthy, especially if you don’t excercise anyway.

Every time I have eaten enough to be full at mcdonald’s it’s been more expensive than other restaurants.

Sure McDonald’s is cheaper than a normal restaurant, but personally I’d rather eat at a restaurant once a month, than at McDonald’s once a week.

Actually after watching Super Size Me eating at McDonald is not at the top of my to-do-list.
And after hearing about rBST I’m not really that hungry anyway.

lets see i’m sorta of a mcdonalds-a-holic…

my normal meal

Two big macs with cheese and mustard only two large fries and two large drinks.

All for me

i weigh 130 pounds. i am underweight for my agegroup i should weigh about 50 pounds more. Just proof god has a sense of humor.

I’m lucky we have the chain of goodtimes fast food here. I wouldn’t eat most fast food, otherwise. (Especially Mickey ds.)

yeah everytime i eat there i lose 14 seconds of my life

(on average Mcdonalds food takes 14 seconds of your life per meal. Though starving would take all of it )
