I’m just curious here, has anyone here ever had an NDE and would like to share it because I have never had one and people say they are kind of like an OBE and I am doing research on OBEs so I can learn to induce them.
Thanks,
The Luciddator
If by NDE you mean fatally wounded, but survived, then no. But I’ve been within 2 feet of getting hit by a pickup truck, and within one foot of a Semi Truck.
So I guess those count as NDE’s, right?
NDE (quote from wiki) click link
A near-death experience (NDE) refers to a broad range of personal experiences associated with impending death, encompassing multiple possible sensations ranging from detachment from the body, feelings of levitation, extreme fear, security, or warmth, the experience of absolute dissolution, and the presence of a light, which some people[specify] interpret as a deity or spiritual presence. Many cultures and individuals revere NDEs as a paranormal and spiritual glimpse into the afterlife.
Such cases are usually reported after an individual has been pronounced clinically dead, or otherwise very close to death, hence the entitlement near-death experience. With recent developments in cardiac resuscitation techniques, the number of NDEs reported is continually increasing.
The Big-K: It seems that you have been pretty lucky throughout your life to not be hit by a truck (even though you were close!) I know my uncle had two NDEs (without the OBE) He was about to be sent to Vietnam and he got the measles and had to stay in the U.S. And a second time he was about to board a plane to visit one of his relatives and missed it and the same plane landed in the ocean and every one of the passengers died, so he’s pretty lucky to .
Moogle: Thanks for all of that info, have you ever had an NDE?
Thanks for the responses,
