New to the forum. I’m a 21 year old (soon to be 22!) psychology student from Scotland, UK. I became interested in lucid dreaming only just a few months ago. Unfortunately I haven’t had one yet, however I’ve been reading Dr. Laberge’s book and using the lucid induction mp3 daily so I’m hoping it will happen soon.
One problem I had with the lucid induction mp3 was that when the voices started playing I would suddenly wake up after being so relaxed by the music! Should I ditch the mp3 or keep going with it?
The induction mp3 is a self hypnosis routine that instructs you to create a lucidity symbol and gives a post hypnotic suggestion that you will have a lucid dream later in the night. The way Labarge does it, the cd could be used for either WILD or MILD.
There used to be links to free downloads of it on this forum. I’ll have to look for them.
How long have you been using the mp3?
Just a suggestion:
Use the mp3 in the afternoon.
Then, (either at bed time or with WBTB) just play a cd with soft music and use a relaxation technique until you feel deeply relaxed. Then, do either WILD or MILD and see what happens.
