i’ve been conscious in my dreams before but it’s never been like how i’ve heard almost everyone on this forum talk about it. i don’t see something wierd and think, oh i must be dreaming. it just kind of happens. i guess the only way to fix that is to do constant reality checks thoughout the day? or is there a better or at least differnet approach i can try?

Evreybody is different. Some have simliar things some don’t. It’s what makes us and are dreams unique,because they are ours and nobody elses. I just know it’s a dream without seeing weird stuff.
If thats how you realize your dreaming and you know it works, why bother trying to change the technique? You’ll just make unecessary work for yourself when you’ve already met success with what your doing now.
i guess that makes sense. it’s just that i don’t feel like i have any control over it. it’s not really a technique, so to speak, because i’m not doing it. it just happens without me doing anything. i guess that if it’s happening i shouldn’t complain. it just seemed like other people had more control over becoming lucid than me. and i thought i was missing out on something. thanks for your input.

you have what most pll have. you reach a stage of lucidity but do not actally go lucid.
mostly ppl realise they are dreaming every night and take some course of action like. i want the red fruit or i am going to turn left.
This may be what you have. all you have to do is take it one step futher. when u relise you are dreaming like you do every night just say, “this is a dream i have complete controll i am lucid”
or somthing along these lines and you will be there.
Lucid dreaming is all about belif, if you belive you can do something u can, if u dont u cant. simple but true
