Problem with my lucid dreams

I am inexperienced with lucid dreaming, and they seem to come at random times. The main problem which I have is many many false awakenings. I get them very frequently, and when it happens, I am lying in my bed, and It seems almost impossible to get the covers off of me and get out of the bed. It takes all the energy I have and even requires multiple tries. The feeling of how difficult it is can be compared to the feeling when you wake up with sleep paralysis. Where it takes so much effort to move one muscle but once you do you are free. That is the best way to describe what it feels like, and it is very bothersome and annoying since it happens so frequently, any ideas what it could be or suggestions on how to have less of these experiences?

I’m gonna suggest trying to get in the habit of making as many reality checks as you can. ( Well, I guess just two or three. )

It could mean the difference between relentless false awakenings and a lucid dream waiting to happen.

Ok I will try it, but what do I do about the intense sensation of SP while trying to get out of my bed in the dream during the mean time?

do a RC every time you ake up and are in bed, you can turn that intense sensation into a lucid dream like that.

Just rememebr before you go to sleep that taking the covers off is easy and if you find it hard you are prob dreaming and should do a RC with a clock to make sure, or something of the like.

Otherwise, why take off the covers why not just go back to sleep and not worry

Ok thanks for the help, I will try all of those tips.
