I have to disagree with this part. If personal experience deviates from what is considered normal, science is the process of considering which one is wrong and why. Scientific theories may be proven and/or disproven. Science is an ever-changing thing. It is a method for finding out the truth. A better way to say it is “scientific findings < personal experience”. You compare the two using science. If the findings are shown to be wrong, the experience goes into the finding to modify it. This makes it more accurate. If science shows the original findings were true, you look at the experience in a deeper perspective to see what actually happened, and study it. That is science, my friend.
I didn’t say scientific findings > personal experience. I made an argument against the hypothetical question. Of course, you make a better explanation yourself.
oh ohoh why soo aggresive coooooll dooown !
yeah okay that was a bit over the top.
I mean, there’s a lot of things we as humans don’t understand. So we shouldn’t say it’s impossible unless there’s no evidence against it. It’s like innocent until proven guilty… or maybe not.
Yeah, erm, LA DE AHDHA!!
uh oh… no one’s saying it’s not possible… they’re just saying they don’t know. oh crap…
I’ll shut up now.
