After reading forums for a few hours, all I thought about when going to bed was having a lucid dream and I kept repeating it to myself.
First dream was just a normal one, I didn’t realize at the time I was dreaming. Woke up not long after, went damnit, i missed it, then sort of faded back to sleep. Second dream is where I thought I was becoming lucid. It felt like I was waiting for it and as soon as it started I knew I was dreaming. I got a wee but excited, tried to take control and was hovering above the ground while I tried to figure out what to do, then I sort of looked around, saw nothing and it all kinda collapsed and the dream ended
Third dream was awesome and not long after it started I knew I was dreaming and started changing things. Whilst it still had like a story I was able to move around as If I was switching cameras in a movie, like I could teleport anywhere in this world and do things. Does this mean I was lucid? Also, I kept switching to this story of 2 people that I thought was a part of this bigger dream but they didn’t relate to it in any way and now I’m wondering, is it possible to have a normal dream within a Lucid dream?
Well first things first
dream 1 definitely not a lucid dream
dream 2 definitely a lucid just so incredibly low lucidity level that you probably just let it slip away
dream 3 definitely a lucid dream but only moderate lucidity.
Dream 3 was definately the one I thought I was getting there on, it was just that with switching between the two dreams it was like each time I was losing control and had to sort of re-establish it. Towards the end I was able to do whatever i wanted, ie materialize a doctor and medical sort of area, then time shift to when I went home. But first time I’ve actively been going for lucidity so hopefully if I keep at it I can control what I’m doing better. Five dreams in one night thought, was an interesting experience.
Although I’m not sure about the third one. I COULD have been a False Lucid Dream. I hate them because I have a really hard time figuring out if I was lucid or not. A FLD, in case you don’t know, is when you dream you are having a lucid dream, without actually being lucid, for example.
In one FLD I actualy said “wow, I’ve never been this lucid before!” I think only you can know for sure what it was. Did you feel lucid? was there that click “wow, I’m dreaming!”? Did it feel like you were actually making choices, or just “going along”?
The first FLD I had I realized I wasn’t lucid because I was in to much control, lol. It was very stable too, and my lucid dreams at the time were very unstable… I also did some things in it that made me ask later “why the heck did I do that!?”
Anyway, even if it was a FLD ( might be wrong!!), the can be very fun, and are usualy “close” to a LD.
Yeah I was reading stuff about the false lucids and I’d have to say it was a real one. It wasn’t like any dream I can remember from recent times. I clicked immediately and realized I was dreaming, I was a lot more aware of everything and whilst I had control over some things it was still very chaotic. I might have to post the full write up of the dreams to see what people think
