Hello all. I am new here, so if I am writing to wrong section of forum or you have this subject in forum please don’t kill me
So ok. We all have friends who can draw things really good not looking at them. I can’t do that and I started wondering why. But I am really good at copying things. So how can’t I draw a thing not watching at it if I draw it perfectly looking at it (if you can’t understand what I mean sorry. My English is not perfect )? And then I thought that I can’t recall a thing I saw in my head with my eyes shut. I mean I can do it, but it’s so blurry and the colors are not clear, just as my dreams are. After some time I started to get into LD stuff and I had a lot of LD’s. A lot of them are blurry, but if I command to become a dream more vivid it does! But again when I wake up I know that it was clear as reality, but I can’t imagine it clearly. I thought it is normal, until yesterday I talked with my friend about this. He said that he can imagine things in his mind as they are in reality. And of course he is good at drawing from his head. So, do you think some people have clear thoughts and others don’t? Is this the reason why some people are good at art and others are not? Do you think people who can imagine things clearly have a vivid dreams and those who can’t imagine things clearly have blurry dreams? Is there a solution to this “blurryness”? Maybe doing more arts can help? Sorry if you don’t get what I mean, but I hope I will get some answers
Those are very interesting thoughts…I wouldn’t define it as clear thoughts, I think it’s just that some people daydream more than others, some have a better imagination and visualization skills. I daydream a lot, can imagine things very clearly and I always draw things from my thoughts. The clarity of my dreams varies, but it’s rare that I would describe them as blurry, so maybe there is a relation.
Some people are just talented when it comes to art, some are not, but you can always improve yourself. I’m not sure if doing more art will help you to make your dreams more vivid, but it’s worth a try. Out of interest, what happens when you read a good book? Can you visualize what is going on?
I can imagine a place, characters of the book, everything, but still these imaginations are blurry. I can imagine voices, sounds, actions more easily.
One more thing I realised. I sometimes try to imagine things as they are before sleep and after having some vivid LD’s I can do it for a second. I can see a small thing with colors, but it fades away fast and becomes blurry. I will try to train my imagination. Maybe I will start to imagine things as clear as I see them. It would be awesome.
