i had my fourth lucid dream last night and it was the most uncontrollable one yet. i was at camp with a couple of friends and we were having a bbq and everybody seemed unusually hostile towards me and the whole camping experience seemed unreal so i kept asking my friends if they also feel strange about this camp but they all ignored me so i realised that this must be a dream so i automaticly did a reality check and realised that i was dreaming but then everything started to get foggy and slowly everything turned black then i woke up in my bed and the sun was out and my sister was in the room so i started to explain to her my lucid experience then i had two or three more dreams that i remember very vividly then i woke up and i was on the floor and it was morning and then i realised that i slept on the floor that night and me telling my sister about my lucid experience was also a dream. but what bothered me is the fact that i lost lucidity soon after i had obtained it and i was wondering why i keep loosing lucidity soon after obtainning as it has happened in my second experience as well. ???
Possibly you’re getting too excited and waking yourself up. Apparently that happens to beginning LDers.
Well. It’s common to not have so long lasting first few lucid dreams. Nothing to worry about. Besides you had a false awakening, they can be extremely convincing. It’s perfectly understandable.
Exactly why you lose lucidity is impossible for me to say but, you can just chalk it up to inexperience.
yeah, FAs hit hard. Even people such as i, who have been LDing for years, still are affected by them.
